PETALING JAYA: NationGate Holdings Bhd is positive on its prospects moving forward that’s supported by a multiyear upcycle in the global electrical and electronics (E&E) and semiconductor industries.

It noted that US tariffs on China’s imports and rising geopolitical risks are accelerating supply-chain diversification into alternative manufacturing hubs such as Malaysia.

NationGate said it is well positioned to benefit from this structural shift by securing new programmes from customers.

The company was impacted in its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3Q25) from a significant reduction in foreign-exchange gains as a result of the strengthening ringgit against the US dollar.

Net profit in the 3Q25 fell 72.8% year-on-year to RM12.66mil and revenue for the quarter dropped to RM965.37mil from RM1.35bil in the same quarter a year ago.
