KUALA LUMPUR: Time Dotcom Bhd delivered a resilient performance with net profit of RM428.15mil for the financial year 2025 (FY25), from RM382.82mil a year earlier, driven by higher revenue, lower impairment of submarine cable and lower net foreign exchange loss.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said revenue rose 6.1% to RM1.79bil in FY25 compared to RM1.69bil recorded in the previous year.

It said the increase in revenue was supported by sustained demand for Time’s data and connectivity offerings, with retail and enterprise continuing to be the primary contributors, a trend consistent with prior-year performance.

Time also declared an interim tax-exempt (single-tier) dividend of 17.32 sen and a special interim tax exempt (single-tier) dividend of 9.73 sen per share, respectively.

It said the dividend, amounting to RM500.1mil, will be paid out on March 25, 2026.

For the fourth quarter, net profit decreased to RM104.38mil from RM114.40mil previously, while revenue rose to RM464.79mil from RM430.59mil.

The group said it remains focused on driving long-term sustainable growth as the telecommunications landscape continues to evolve. — Bernama
