Zetrix AI obtains moneylender’s licence renewal

PETALING JAYA: Zetrix AI Bhd has announced that its sub-subsidiary, MY EG Finance Technologies Sdn Bhd (MYEGFT), has received its moneylender’s licence renewal pursuant to the Moneylenders Act 1951 from the Housing and Local Government Ministry.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Zetrix (formerly MyEG Services Bhd – the company officially changed its name to Zetrix AI in July 2025), said the licence will be valid for a period of two years effective from Jan 15, 2026 to Jan 14, 2028.
“The licence would enable MYEGFT to carry out activities in relation to money lending services which complement its existing business activities,” said the company.
