KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

Inari Amertron Bhd has terminated its proposed joint acquisition of Lumileds Holding B.V. after failing to secure regulatory approval from US authorities due to national security concerns.

Nestlé (M) Bhd has reached a significant milestone, sourcing all chillies for its Maggi Chilli Sauce from local farmers.

Sunway Construction Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, has received a construction job valued at RM1.8bn for a hyperscale data centre in Bandar Serendah, Selangor.

Gamuda Bhd's unit, Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM1.7bn contract to build a hyperscale data centre in Port Dickson for a US-based multinational technology company.

Exsim Hospitality Bhd has secured a RM138.0mn subcontract from Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd.

MN Holdings Bhd's wholly owned unit, MN Utilities Engineering Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM275.9mn project to design, supply, install, maintain, test, and commission a 275-kilovolt consumer landing station for a data centre in Peninsular Malaysia's central region.

Bina Puri Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Bina Puri Builder Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM156.4mn construction contract from Easter Synergy Sdn Bhd.

FBG Holdings Bhd, previously known as Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd, announced that it has been appointed as a specialist contractor for the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research's testing laboratory and complex building project valued at RM40.2mn.

WTEC Group Bhd has proposed acquiring a detached factory with office space in Semenyih, Selangor for RM10.mn, as part of its plan to consolidate manufacturing operations.

K Seng Seng Corp Bhd has proposed changing its name to EC Excel Holdings Bhd, with the new name already approved and reserved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

Aizo Group Bhd has secured approval from Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd for a series of corporate exercises to strengthen its balance sheet and support future growth.
